ILIADIS TRANSPORTS SA was awarded for participation in the project titled “Transportation Emissions Measurement and Reaction (TEMR)” which was implemented under the Framework Programme "Bilateral R & D Cooperation between Greece and Israel 2013 - 2015".
The BRONZE Award for the category “Reduction / Minimization Emissions” was awarded to the collaboration of Hellenic Institute of Transport (H.I.T.) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), ILIADIS TRANSPORTS SA and EMPHASIS Telematics SA, at the award ceremony of the Energy Mastering Awards 2015, held in Athens on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Project TEMR aims to improve the efficiency of freight transports by promoting the reduction of energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions, while ensuring financial and social benefits.
It is estimated that the participation of ILIADIS TRANSPORT SA in TEMR, contributed greatly to the emergence of the ability to take advantage of technology for efficient transportation services, giving the opportunity both to the authorities to take effective decisions and measures on traffic management and environmental policy followed and other private companies to provide transportation services at lower cost and more environmentally friendly.
